Happy Ours is a home which has been completely remodelled and updated.
My wife is a professional designer and has insisted on a fun, beachy/ vacation theme throughout.
This is highlighted by the Florida room ( You have to have a Florida room here ) where the emphasis is flip flops.
The pool and deck are brand new in 2007 and pool heat can be provided for a charge of $150.00 per week (Definately not needed May to end of October.)
There are two local strip malls within a half mile distance with Publix, Albertsons and KMart supermarkets, plus lots of other large and small stores.
Locally in Bradenton and Anna Maria there are far too many eating places to list, of all varieties and pricings.We keep a folder in Happy Ours which contains names and addresses and also many menus from an assortment of restuarants.
This is Florida, therefore all the facilities, amenities and fun things to do are endless.
Fishing, boating, deep sea diving, wind surfing, water ski-ing, cycle hire, motor scooter hire and a variety of interesting parks are all within minutes drive from Happy Ours.
A little further afield are museums, theme parks, the arts center of Sarasota, alligator parks and of course within a 2 hour drive of the Disney parks.
